Lawn Care & Monetary Assistance

Objective: To provide free lawn care and financial support to seniors in need.

Target Beneficiaries: This program is for seniors who are physically unable to maintain their lawns or who are experiencing financial hardship.

Services Provided:

Free Riding Lawn Mower Service: The organization will accept riding lawnmowers as donations and use them to cut the lawns of eligible seniors.

Monetary Donations: Monetary donations will be used to cover the cost of fuel, maintenance, and any necessary repairs for the riding lawnmowers.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Seniors must be at least 65 years of age.

  • Seniors must be unable to physically maintain their lawns due to health reasons or advanced age.

  • Seniors must demonstrate financial hardship based on income and/or expenses.

How to Apply:

Seniors can apply for assistance by contacting their local senior center or community organization.

Volunteers will conduct an assessment to determine eligibility and schedule lawn care services.

Donation Information:

Riding lawnmowers in good working condition are accepted as donations.

Monetary donations can be made online or by mail.

  • Improved Living Environment: Seniors will have well-maintained lawns, which

  • can enhance their quality of life and preserve their property value.

  • Reduced Physical Burden: Seniors will be relieved of the physical effort required to cut their lawns.
